Out of the gutter and back on track.

It was super foggy on the mountain this morning and I waited for it to clear a little before biking to check on my car and to get groceries at Piggly Wiggly. The lady told me that the parts had come and they were installing them. So I went back to the house and messed around until she called. Then I walked back because I was a little saddle sore. I returned to the cottage to get my stuff, said hello to Debbie at the pottery place next door, then headed to Huntsville. I needed to go to the bank, and figured that going there wouldn’t take much more time than going up to Franklin, with the added bonus of a prettier drive and no rush hour traffic headed south on 65. I quickly did my business there and enjoyed a scenic trip through Fayetteville and Lewisburg back to the farm.

There I was amazed by two things – the gutters that were installed today and the painting that my dad did inside. The latter especially makes such a huge difference. That was really encouraging. He is staying the night so we went to see Zach at Big Box before getting pizza at Red 7 in town. The bad news is that we failed the electrical inspection, but all the things are easily fixed, so hopefully he will come tomorrow and do them.
