Last day in Michigan.

We are getting packed up and will hit the road shortly. It will be another drive through the night, which will be tiring, but hopefully trouble free. It has been a good trip – lots of quality family time, pretty scenery, and mild weather. Not to mention good food. I think we will return in October, when the weather is even nicer and the leaves will hopefully be changing. Of course the real highlight then is the pumpkin and apple harvests.

Sunrise wasn’t too impressive this morning, but I needed to get up anyways to collect my cameras. Last night the stars were amazing, but there was so much dew out that the cameras didn’t do very well. That’s okay, I’ll be back next year. We went in to town this morning because Liz wanted a picture with Luke in front of a Gerber sign. There was a really cool mural on one side of the plant but access was limited, so we settled for another spot. The rest of the day was just spent hanging out with family.
