Active and challenging day.

Luke woke up a couple of times during the night. I went in the first time and Liz the second. I guess she forgot to shut his door all the way, because around the time it was getting light outside he started zooming around the house on his little bus. That was quite a shock to both of us. After breakfast Luke and I drove up to Franklin for his speech therapy. That seemed to go pretty well. We returned home, ate snack, then drove to the playground in Spring Hill to meet my parents. Today is my mother’s birthday, so it was great for Luke to see her. Unfortunately it was a little hot and steamy out. I also had to talk on the phone for about half the time, which was a bit of a downer. Luke had a great time though.

We returned home for lunch and then an attempted nap. He stayed in his room for close to an hour but never slept. We just played until Liz got off work. It was raining hard so no trip outside. I was working on getting a contract on the house, but it ended up falling through. Rather disappointing. Oh well, lots more fish in the sea. Liz put Luke to bed but he was kind of creaming, so I went in to calm him down and he fell asleep not long after that.
