Reunited.

Well, it was quite a day. I had trouble sleeping last night and got out of bed a lot earlier than usual. After kind of cleaning up my car I drove up to my parents’ house. I visited with them for a few minutes and then borrowed my mother’s car to go get Liz and Luke. Instead of heading straight up I-65 I took I-24 to Hopkinsville, then a Kentucky parkway, then I-69 to Indianapolis. We were due to meet south of the city, but Liz was running late. Shocking. So I drove up to Kokomo and waited for them in the parking lot of a farming museum. They finally arrived and we were able to get everything transferred pretty quickly. The drive home was long but uneventful. We stopped at a rest area so Luke could eat. He loved seeing all the semi trucks there. Same when we stopped for gas, he just loves pointing at them. We finally arrived home at about ten. I was exhausted. Luke was happy to see the moon out. He turned 28 months old today.
