Hohenwald.

This morning we drove west to Lewis County. Our first stop was a lavender farm which was having a little festival. That was kind of boring, plus I was a little upset about the absurd price I paid for some baked good. Next we drove about 12 minutes to downtown Hohenwald where there was another little festival. Luke enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course and Liz went in a couple of shops. On the way home we hoped to have lunch in Hampshire, but the restaurant was closed. So we stopped at the newish Towne Coffee in Columbia. It was nice.

End of an era.

Nine years. 125,000 (more or less) miles. Lots of memories. Yesterday I sold my trusty 2005 Lexus GX470. It was in immaculate shape when I bought it. Now it is not. Along the way it has pulled all sorts of trailers, been through mountains and mud, and handled pretty much everything that was thrown at it. I will miss it, but will try to replace it with another first generation GX.
