Trucking on along.

Luke and I played this morning and he had therapy online, which Liz did with him. After nap we played some more. During his nap I spent some time organizing the garage. Once Liz finished work we went to the nature park again. He was a bit late going to bed this evening. I might go to Kroger in a bit.

Checking a few things off the list.

I got up earlier this morning and did most of an Insanity workout before getting bored. Then I went by the bank, the dump, the lumberyard, city hall, the electric company, Dutch Maid Bakery in Tracy City, and the house (to put out a for sale sign and brochures). That took most of the morning. After returning to and cleaning the cottage, then packing up, I went to the sand plant for a trailer load of gravel. Lastly I returned to the house to pick up a couple of tools. A neighbor stopped by and asked about things. I gave him a tour and he said he will talk to his wife. They are looking to downsize and their house on the bluff is for sale. I’m not sure how interested he actually is, but he was very complimentary, which felt good. I drove home via Manchester and Bell Buckle. Luke was just waking up from his nap when I arrived. My parents had been looking after him today. They said goodbye and left, and Luke and I played until Liz got off work. We all then went to the nature park. It as still pretty warm but not too uncomfortable. The fresh air was nice. This evening I am listing the house on Zillow and Craigslist.

Getting some things done.

Another slow start this morning. But fortunately another Insanity workout. I just goofed off until about noon, when I went over to the house. There I watered the trees, messed with the front door, cleaned up some debris piles, and scraped for the driveway. I do feel like the place is looking pretty good. I went to the library to use the internet and saw that they will be closed tomorrow. That spurred me to drive down to Manchester to get a cord for my printer at Wal-Mart. Back at the cottage I printed some flyers and a few other things. Around sunset I drove over to the house and took a few pictures at Laurel Lake. I saw Eric sitting outside the Goat Market so I stopped and chatted with him for a while. I’ve just been chilling at the cottage since then. I talked with Liz earlier and am now wishing that I had a good book to read.
