Construction, cousins, and cows.

It was another active day. We went on a walk in the nearby park this morning, before it got too hot. We also went to Wal-Mart, which was a bit of a different experience the the Meijer that we went to a couple of times previously. My father-in-law and I worked more on the house. We didn’t finish, but made good progress. This evening we went to see Liz’s cousins again and Hannah showed us her cow. Luke enjoyed that. I again didn’t photograph sunrise or sunset. The bit of sunrise that i could see from the bedroom window was lovely, but I was just too tired to get up.

Michigan mania.

We drove all of last night and arrived at Liz’s parents’ house this morning. The drive was tiring, but there wasn’t much traffic and it felt good to arrive at the start of the day. I didn’t sleep upon arrival, but did take a little bit of a nap this afternoon. Hopefully I’ll sleep well tonight. We took it pretty easy today, just getting adjusted and spending time with family. Luke did very well on both the drive and here at the farm. It should be a nice week here; it will certainly be cooler than Nashville.
