Another chilly morning, Nashville, back slow cooking.

This morning was a little nippy so we didn’t take a walk. I drove up to my parents’ place in Nashville to cut their grass, and then stopped at Lowe’s in Cool Springs and Kroger in Spring Hill on the way back. I worked outside, prepared dinner, worked outside some more, ran errands in town, worked outside even more, then we went on a greenway walk, had dinner, then mowed the back field.

Chilly and misty Sunday.

Another morning walk and an unexpected car nap. So we drove up to Home Depot in Spring Hill where Liz picked up a paint sample. Leftovers for lunch then I prepared a slow cooker Indian dish for dinner. Everybody napped this afternoon. The evening walk was at a new location – Jerry Irwin Park up in Spring Hill. It was a nice place, basically a loop around a big field. Dinner was delicious.

More rain, more (attempted) walks, more farmers market.

It was actually not raining this morning, so we headed to the farmers market. I bought a small aloe plant because I wanted one, and Liz was guilted into buying strawberries, greens, and radishes from different vendors. Back at the house we played with Luke a whole lot and didn’t do much else. No cooking as we have plenty of leftovers. We went back to the greenway this afternoon and walked just briefly before the rain started back. So a rather disappointing day on the exercise front. Also disappointing was last night’s episode of Hawaii Five-0, which I watched during Luke’s morning nap.

Cooling down, but getting wet.

It was nice and fresh this morning when we went for a walk. It started sprinkling at the end, but was no bother. Walking felt great. Then it rained for most of the day. I went to Kroger and had a bunch of “office work” to do inside the house. I also made dinner, and it was honestly a bit disappointing. Probably the first one that I won’t make again. This evening we went on another walk since the rain had ceased.

Luke had a pretty good day. Lots of crawling around and biting things.
