Puzzle champion.

I feel like this deserves its own post. Last night Luke and I went to a jigsaw puzzle competition put on by a schoolmate at a nearby church. There were 35 teams of two vying to complete a 300 piece puzzle the fastest. Our system was for me to separate the edge pieces and pass them to him for assembly. We then divided the remaining pieces by color and then latched them together. I assumed we were doing well because we were ahead of the folks nearest us, and we did in fact finish before anyone else. Luke was pretty ecstatic. Prizes included a trophy, puzzle, and gift cards for each of us.

Fortunately this week wasn’t all shed building. I was also able to go photographing a few times and spend time with friends.

2025 book 17.

It’s been a bit of a dry spell. I think I read one that I haven’t accounted for. I’ll try to figure that out. I enjoyed this book; I’m not very into classical music, but this did provide a fascinating glimpse into Mozart’s creative output.
