Liz and Luke made muffins this morning, which was a real treat. Next we went to the farmer’s market for bread and a watermelon. We walked over to the school playground and Luke went down one of the slides a whole bunch of times. We were all sweating by the time we returned to the car. We did some chores around the house and Luke took a nice nap. He has been eating lunch at 11:30 and napping at noon. I spent a bit of time working on my business website and preparing the advertisements for the house to print and post online. After Luke went to bed I went to Kroger. I bought a massive amount of food, but the experience wasn’t too bad, as there weren’t many other shoppers in the store.
Finally Friday.
Luke and I played some more. I calculated that the lumber for this next house will cost at least $6000 more than it would have last summer. That pretty much set the mood for the day.
Little Wild Man.
At some point last night Luke decided that he didn’t want to wear a diaper, so he pulled it off. He did not take a break from peeing though, so it wasn’t a very good morning for anybody but him. We did a lot of reading and playing with Legos and puzzles during the day. He also discovered that with his step stool and high chair he can pretty much reach any item that he wants on the kitchen counters. I napped while he did this afternoon and we all went to the nature park when Liz got off work. It was pretty hot out but still nice to be outside.
Hanging around, playing, reading, eating, mowing grass.
Another day. Luke had fun misbehaving.

Fun with grandparents.
Luke woke up while it was still dark again this morning. We played with Legos and read some books, then went outside for a while. My parents came a little after ten, and he played with them until lunch time. He napped around noon for a couple of hours. My parents ate lunch with me and then left after some conversation. We played some more after Luke woke up. Liz got off work and I tried to get her car working properly. No luck, so tomorrow I will take it to the mechanic. After dinner I mowed a bit of grass. It felt good outside.
