Christmas Eve.

We had a busy day. This morning I went to TJ Maxx and Bargain Hunt, then by the vet’s to get something for Lilly. After breakfast Luke and I changed out a couple of smoke alarms and did a few other little projects. That took most of the day, along with some playing. We also went to Target and Home Depot for a few things. Overall it was a pretty good day. Luke was well behaved and enjoyed helping me work on stuff. He is getting excited for Christmas.

Same work, new location.

Luke slept in a little later than usual this morning, which was nice. After breakfast I took trash to the dump and then we started working on some small projects around the house. Those included hanging pictures, bolting in shelves, caulking, repairing drywall, and more. Luke enjoyed helping. This afternoon we went to Lowe’s and a few car dealerships to browse for trucks. This evening was pretty normal. Luke got a little wild but went to sleep without fuss because he was so tired. I just returned from a miserable trip to Kroger. Unfortunately they were all out of egg nog.

Last day of the work week.

I arrived at the job site earlier than usual this morning and unloaded tools and materials. I cleaned the house and back porch, installed cabinet knobs, put in some cedar trim, and made a couple of trips to the hardware store to get some stuff for the electricians. I organized the storage unit a bit, then did a little office work back at the cottage. Finally I packed up and drove home. Luke was waiting for me and we played a bit before dinner. After dinner he went through his bedtime routine. Now I am messing around on the computer while Liz goes to the grocery store.

Mostly homebound.

This morning I went to Kroger first thing. The experience wasn’t as bad as expected, but it was still nice to be finished. Luke and I played a lot this morning, and created a “wrecking ball” for his crane out of materials that Liz acquired at Hobby Lobby yesterday. This afternoon we played some more and Luke and Liz made pumpkin bread. This evening Luke was a little wild, but we got the house cleaned up and him bathed. Liz is with him now starting the bed time routine. Soon I will head to the Mountain for what will hopefully be a very productive three days.

Wet, but still active.

This morning we went for a walk at the battlefield in Spring Hill, then to Home Depot for a few things, next to the Factory in Columbia, and finally to the farmers market just before everybody packed up for the day. This afternoon Luke and I did a lot of playing. This evening he was really tired and went to bed early.
