We woke up to more rain. The field across the street was a lake and so we spent the morning inside. Liz and Luke made muffins for breakfast and they were delicious. After lunch he didn’t nap but did have some quiet time. Late this afternoon there was a break in the rain so we went to a park in Spring Hill where he rode his tricycle. After that we got pizza to take home. Luke enjoyed getting a little pizza and entertained us at dinner. While he was getting ready for bath some hail came down. I raced out to put blankets on Liz’s car to protect it. We are supposed to get another two to three inches of rain tonight.

This morning I took Luke to High Hopes and Publix. We returned home and my parents came to see us for a little while. He really enjoyed that. After lunch he again didn’t nap, but we did have some quiet time. I decided I needed a break so we got in the car and went for a drive. After a little while he fell asleep, though not for very long. We returned home and played until Liz got off work. It was a wet and nasty day and they are saying maybe tornados tonight.

Our new nanny returned this morning and Luke was very happy to see her. After playing a little we headed to the park in Spring Hill. It was overcast and super windy and we were the only ones there for the first hour or so. Luke really enjoyed running all around and going up and down the slides. Some kids and parents started to arrive and he liked watching them. My parents came and he loved showing off for them. Unfortunately it started to rain and so we went home. Liz had lunch ready and we tried napping, but were not successful. It was a very long afternoon. Dinner and bedtime went well though, aside from the fact that he was on the toilet for fifty minutes.
