Little Man’s big playground adventure.
Up in Spring Hill is a nice park that I have driven by many times on my way to Kroger. Today we finally took Luke so that he could run around. The playground was huge and the “floor” was padded. His main activity was picking up little bits of trash and handing them to me, but he also went down a slide with Liz.

Fun with grandparents.
My parents came down this morning and we all went on a walk at the new park. It was overcast and relatively cool which made things enjoyable. Next we went to the farmer’s market, where Luke walked/ran around and we bought a watermelon. We spent the rest of the day doing stuff around the house. Luke was in a great mood and very energetic.

Walkin’ and weedin’.
Liz’s leg still hurt this morning, so we didn’t all go on a walk, however I went alone after breakfast on my way to Kroger. It was already pretty warm and there were a few other cars in the parking lot. I tried to keep a pretty good pace and wanted to go as far as possible. That entailed making a figure eight around the trails. It ended up being over two miles. Not as far as ideal, but still a nice little hike.
After the grocery store I focused on weeding the upper pumpkin patch. It was more out of hand than I realized. Instead of using my new blow torch, which I tested and couldn’t control too well, I used a swing blade. It was hot and miserable work, but I am fairly satisfied with the results.

Nice walk in the new park.
We got a little bit of a late start, so it was warmer and sunnier than ideal, but still nice. I was also hoping that the big loop would be longer; it ended up being nearly half a mile shorter than the map said.
