Another Monday.

We didn’t go to High Hopes this morning due to all of us still feeling a bit rough. Luke was able to do his speech therapy remotely though, and Miss Sarah was very pleased with how well he is doing. We spent the rest of the day reading and playing with Legos.

Escape to the Mountain.

This morning I drove up to the Mountain with a breakfast stop in Pelham. I ran several errands and added a vent under the kitchen cabinets to the recently sold house. Next I went and visited with Debbie for a a while at the store. We catted and I helped her pack some candles to ship. My final stop was the Goat Market where I relaxed and shot the breeze with Eric and Hunter for a long time. The drive home was slow and foggy, but it was good to see Luke and Liz when I returned.

Sick!

Well last night certainly didn’t go as planned. Luke started wailing and upon inspection he had thrown up. Liz held him and received a vomit shower for her trouble. He didn’t seem super sick and the doctor wasn’t too concerned when we called. Liz still spent the night in his room with him though. He woke up in a good mood with a slightly elevated temperature but otherwise was in good shape. We read a lot and did a bit of Lego building today. He napped briefly this afternoon.

Getting it done on a Monday.

This morning Liz took Luke up to High Hopes so I was able to get some work done around the house. First I did some more on Luke’s closet, then took trash to the dump before cleaning the kitchen. They returned and Luke and I played with Legos until lunch time. He really didn’t want to nap, but eventually did, splitting his time between his room and the sofa. He didn’t wake up until Liz got off work. We then played some more until dinner time. After dinner I went to Home Depot and Kroger in Spring Hill. The latter is always a miserable experience. Luke was still up when I returned a little after nine. He wanted to tell me that he had gone tee-tee in his little toilet for the first time.

Special Sunday.

Luke slept in a little bit again this morning, which was great. After breakfast we just kind of relaxed until it was time to load up and go to the tree farm in Lewisburg. They weren’t actually growing the trees there, but they did have some for sale, along with chickens and goats to look at. We found a nice tree and talked with the proprietors for a while. Back at home we had lunch then Luke and I napped. That was pretty nice. Afterwards I started working on shelves for his closet, then we began decorating the tree. We did a video call with my parents so that Luke could show them the tree and some other things we had been doing around the house. After dinner I worked on the shelves some more.

Productive Saturday.

Luke slept in a bit which meant we all got to relax. After breakfast I built shelves for the playroom closet, an enjoyable task that consumed most of the morning. After lunch I drove up to Cool Springs. I got more shelving materials at Home Depot, and met with my friend Alex for a few minutes. Upon arriving back home I relaxed a little and played with Luke. This evening I have been following the Tide and organizing my office.
