Eclipse.
Things went quite a bit differently than expected, but in the end I was able to make a brief trip up to Wickliffe, Kentucky to see the total solar eclipse. My location was a bit underwhelming, but the eclipse itself was still magical. It was a three and a half hour drive each way. Fortunately I was able to leave before traffic became terrible.

Trail cam.
Luke got a trail cam as a belated Christmas present, and we have set it up at the edge of the back field. So far we have seen rabbits, armadillos, squirrels, birds, possums, and a deer. Oh, and also a fox and a bobcat. The pictures haven’t been great, but here are a few.

Rolling through February.
The weather has been pretty mild. Maybe we got most of winter out of the way in January. Luke is finishing up his five day mid-winter break today. Below are a few photos because I am too lazy to type more.
