Start of week three and a fussy Little Man.

Today was the start of the third and hopefully final week of our little Nashville adventure. I finished up the flooring downstairs in unit one, and made good progress on the upstairs. I hope to be finished with all of the flooring by Wednesday. My dad is making great progress on the doors and trim. We also installed the last of the bathroom vanities. We had been waiting on a part from the cabinet supplier. My portable table saw died, so after lunch we picked up a new one. It is a bit nicer and included a stand. We worked a little over twelve hours today.

Liz said that Luke was rather fussy and didn’t nap very well today. He was pretty good this evening though. We bathed him and he nursed a lot.

Strolling, fussing, not much napping, and grandparents.

It was already pretty warm by the time we arrived at the AG Center this morning. We still managed to walk three laps though, and enjoyed the fresh air. I played with Luke a bit this afternoon. He really didn’t want to sleep any. My parents came over for a little while and were able to see him as we were trying to get him to nap.  We did tummy time and he held his head up for a long time but did not roll over.

Saturdaze.

More laminate flooring down, but still probably three days of it left. Unit one is different than the rest. Larger, and with a somewhat easier to navigate floorplan, from a flooring installation perspective. I am getting pretty exhausted. Tomorrow’s day off comes at a good time.

Luke got a bath this evening, and handled it very well, as usual.

More flooring and quality time with the Little Man.

It was just a twelve hour work day. I did all of the flooring on the ground level of unit two. Tomorrow the marble guys are supposedly returning and I will be able to finish the lower level of unit four and hopefully do all of the lower level on on unit one. It wasn’t too hot today, but I did run the fan.

Luke was pretty relaxed this evening. I played with him on the bed for quite a while. He smiled a lot. And peed a lot.

About last night.

After I posted yesterday evening the Little Man had a bath (which went well) and we went out to dinner (which did  not). We went to Mediterranean Cuisine in Maryland Farms. After ordering we went outside. The evening was beautiful – the pond was pretty and the ducks and geese were nearby. Just after our food arrived Luke started going nuts. He had a wet diaper so I took him to the car and changed him. This did nothing to improve his mood, as it normally does. So Liz tried nursing him. He wasn’t interested and kept on wailing. We packed everything up and he calmed down on the drive back to the condo.

Liz said he isn’t sleeping well during the day. My mother helped look after him this afternoon and said he was pretty fussy. Fortunately he was pretty calm by the time I arrived. We did a little tummy time in between nursings.
