Busy Mother’s Day.

Luke sure got up early this morning. After breakfast we had a video call with Liz’s parents and then went to the forest. It was a touch chilly, but lovely out. Upon returning home we video chatted with my parents before lunch. Luke and I both napped this afternoon while Liz went to Wal-Mart. We had some projects to work on, but instead went to the battlefield park in Spring Hill, because the weather was so nice.

Cold then lovely.

It was supposed to get down to 33 degrees last night. It was pretty chilly around seven this morning when I went to Home Depot to get some materials for the she shed deck. After breakfast we went to the nature park for a nice walk and picnic snack. I spent most of the rest of the day working on the shed, with breaks for lunch, a trip to the dump, and dinner. I stopped early because I ran out of gas for the generator.

Another busy day.

Luke and I started the morning off with a trip to the park in Spring Hill. We were there for a bit longer than usual and managed to do two laps around the loop. We also spent a lot of time throwing rocks and sticks into the creek. He had occupational therapy when we got home and then lunch and nap. I worked on the she shed for the latter part of his nap, then some more after Liz got off work and again after dinner.

Wet, unproductive day.

This morning we left the house about 9:30 to go to Luke’s doctor appointment up in Cool Springs. It rained the whole way. I stayed in the car while they went inside. I napped while Luke napped this afternoon, then we played some more until Liz got off work. I went to the she shed, then Liz and Luke came to inspect. During dinner the fire alarm went off and it took a few minutes to reset. During Luke’s bath it went off again, and took about 45 minutes to get turned off. It was super frustrating. I need to find more permanent solution, as I just unplugged two modules. I did go back to the she shed after that and was able to get a little more work done before dark.
