Windy, lazy, and tasty.

It sure was nice to see Luke first thing this morning. Less nice was driving back up to the Mountain. But I needed to. I organized my tools on the trailer and at the storage unit a bit. Kent came and did a bit of caulking. A buddy of his came out to look at the dirt work we need done and said he can come early next week. That will make the driveway usable and get us able to build the deck. After that I went next door to see Debbie. She and Charles invited me to dinner at the campus dining hall. It was delicious and it was a nice evening of conversation. Aaron her ex-husband and Autumn her daughter were also there. This evening I just talked with my dad on the phone, then Liz.

More projects, more fun.

Another early morning, compliments of Little Man. I hung an ironing board rack that Liz bought yesterday and we spray painted the legs for a shelf she is making. We also hung three Hatch Show prints in her office. Luke was in a pretty good mood. Now we are trying to find an alternative to our crappy AT&T internet. It looks like Spectrum is the only option. We also want to sign up for YouTube TV. The weather was nice all weekend, and should be decent this coming week. I’m headed back to the Mountain after Luke goes to bed.

Scrape, errands, projects, grandparents.

Our day started early this morning when Luke woke up and started raising a ruckus. His morning got worse when he fell and scraped his cheek. No real morning nap because he fell asleep while nursing. I went to the dump and Kroger while he and Liz ate lunch. Then we worked on a few little things around the house. My parents came down just after Luke went down for his afternoon nap. They brought some of my stuff they had been storing and in return took some stuff of theirs from here. Liz went to Lowe’s for some stuff and we just chilled until Luke woke up. I also forgot to add that I cooked two meals in the slow cooker – a lentil dish and chili. Both were pretty good in my opinion.
