Some of Liz’s friends came to visit today- -a total of three adults and four young girls. So we spent the morning cleaning and organizing the house in preparation. It felt good to get things in order. Our guests arrived mid-afternoon and we had a great time. The girls loved playing with Luke and exploring the back field. We all ate watermelon and then chili for dinner. After they left we bathed Luke, put him to bed, and are now just relaxing.

Well we left Michigan a few minutes before seven last night and arrived home just after four this morning. I drove the whole way until the last hour, just north of Nashville. The drive was uneventful and we saw a lovely sunset in Northern Indiana. We have spent most of the day just trying to recover. I have unpacked most of my stuff and am getting ready for the week ahead. Luke has been in a great mood all day and napped very well. Hopefully the hour time difference won’t be too big a deal tonight at bed time. Below is a notification from Google about what I was doing three years ago.
