Well today was pretty much the opposite of a lazy Sunday. I spent most of the day updating my accounting for the house project. By that I mean sorting through seven months of receipts. I hadn’t input any into my spreadsheet since April. Needless to say I had quite a mess on my hands. I think that everything is pretty well organized now though. I just wish that I hadn’t spent so much money on all this house stuff! We are a bit over budget. After finishing that I started packing a little bit. Fortunately I don’t have a ton of stuff here. I went out to Lowe’s for more cardboard boxes but they were out of medium and large. Tomorrow I will try to go to Home Depot and get some plastic bins. I will be babysitting Luke for most of the day at the condo. Hopefully I can do some packing while he naps. He was in a pretty good mood today. I played with him just a little, but was primarily focused on working.
Little Man braves the cold.
It was a pretty relaxing day. It feels like I spent most of it on the computer working on house stuff. Bit I did manage to read to Luke and play with him a bit. We also took him with us to Lowe’s as we looked at appliances. Also it was bath night. He seems to be enjoying that more and more. I left the condo a little after seven, stopped at Home Depot on Franklin for a propane heater and a piece of backer board, then came down to the farm.

Little Man’s rough “fall back”.
Daylight savings ended in the wee hours of this morning, and Luke was pretty caught off guard. He did not enjoy an extra hour of sleep. Bit once he got settled he had a great day of relaxing.

I awoke this morning to the sound of drywall being sanded. It was a little chilly so I didn’t exactly jump out of bed. After messing around a bit I went to Home Depot to get my dad an electric sander for the drywall. It is a cordless Ryobi, and uses the same batteries that I already have. Back at the house I did a lot more spackling. I am basically finished with everything but the highest reaches of the walls and vaulted ceiling in the kitchen/dining room. Liz and Luke came in the afternoon. She brought seven (7!!!) samples of white (or close) paint, which I proceeded to put at various spots around the house and apartment. She decided on one of the not so white options. It will be used on the walls, trim, and vaulted ceilings. I finished up the day and daylight by installing most of our last old siding accent wall in the spare bedroom.
