Catching up with the Little Man on a chilly Sunday.
It got down close to freezing last night, but Luke was appropriately dressed. I wouldn’t mind one of those fleece jumpsuits for myself. We didn’t do too much today. I read to him a bit and he did some tummy time. He took three good naps and was in a pretty good mood. This evening after he and Liz go to sleep I’ll drive down to Columbia. I’m anticipating another very productive week and it will be great to get going tomorrow morning. This week I hope to finish the remaining walls and ceilings. There is some drywall left and also the old siding that goes on two bedroom walls. First thing tomorrow morning I need to go get more sheetrock. I also need to haul a bunch of debris to the landfill. It will be very cold tonight but thankfully it will be warmer starting tomorrow.
Passed the Little (boss) Man’s inspection.
Liz and Luke came out to the farm today and checked everything out. They both seemed happy. Other than that my dad and I kept plugging away at things. It was a little slower day, but the past two weeks have been very productive.
Catching up with the Little Man after a week away.
I arrived back at the condo relatively late yesterday evening, so didn’t get to spend much time with Luke. We had a lot of fun today though. He sure seems bigger now than he did a week ago.
Sweet potatoes and sweet victory.
We decided to ditch the turkey in a jar and instead offered Luke some fresh sweet potato puree this evening. It was much better received. He took three good naps over the course of the day and was in a better mood than he has been recently. Maybe that was also due to the Tide’s continued dominance and an unexpected victory by Granddaddy’s Bulldogs. He wore one of his Alabama outfits today in celebration. Liz’s mother arrived safely this evening and after a couple hours of visiting I came down here to the farm. I’m typing this post using the WordPress app on my phone, and it’s a little bit of a pain. Not a big deal though. I’m looking forward to a very productive week here.
