Last full day in Michigan.

The weather turned cold again but we still got a few things done. John and I watched Luke after breakfast so Liz and Becky could get some things done, then we went to get hay. This afternoon I messed around on the computer while Luke napped, then we did some stuff in the sheds. After dinner I went to Meijer for a few things.

Cold in Michigan.

As forecast, the cold rolled in last night. It was chilly today but never miserable. John and I started the day by driving around a bit before ending up at the Habitat Restore to look for a door for the shooting shed. Unfortunately it was closed, so we just made one out of plywood. After lunch we drove over to Muskegon to look around Harbor Freight. This evening we all had dinner and I played with Luke a bit.

Working hard in Michigan.

There was a beautiful sunrise to start the morning, although I only took pictures from the bedroom window. After breakfast John and I hauled hay to the auction and bought gravel in town. With Luke’s help we spread the gravel on a garden path. After lunch we took more hay to the auction, then watched it get sold. The auction was a real American experience. Fortunately the weather was lovely again today. Later this afternoon we started to repair a shooting shed that someone else had done a poor job of building. Dinner was delicious and hopefully I will go to sleep soon.
