Sunday stroll.
The weather turned lovely today and so we went for a nice walk along the (still flooded) river near downtown. Luke loved all of the sights and sounds.

Concrete party.
We got the garage slab poured today.

A great day for building decks.
I drove up to Nashville this morning to help my dad build decks at his place. We made pretty good progress on the frames. We should work on them again next Monday. Back at the farm I prepared the garage for the concrete man who is coming at the crack tomorrow morning. Luke was in a good mood this evening.

Sunny, cold, and swinging.
The sun came out today, which was quite nice, but there was a breeze out and so it was pretty nippy. Last week Liz’s parents sent Little Man a wooden horse swing. I wasn’t able to build a stand for it until today. He sure loves it!

Less boring Sunday.
Another wet and nasty day. We went out into it though, and up to Nashville to celebrate Lauren’s birthday at her new place. She seems to be getting settled pretty well. She is definitely more unpacked than we are. Unfortunately I neglected to take any pictures, but Luke was in a great mood and loved showing off all of his faces. We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at home. Luke had a very difficult time going to bed.

Boring Saturday.
I can’t really remember what all happened today. This morning we went to Big Box to look at mattresses and furniture. Then I went to the Kroger in Spring Hill. It was pretty busy and not well laid out. The rest of the day we just hung around the house.
Cold, damp, and crawling.
The spring-like weather has taken flight, and we are back to reality. It was another good day of errands and unpacking though. It was also bath night, which Luke loves.
